Out of the Park Baseball Go 26 is out now on iOS and Android
  • Out of the Park Baseball returns to mobile this year
  • OOTP Go 26 boasts improvements to scouting and familiar, granular detail
  • Build your own team and league, or jump into MLB and KBO organisations

It seems as if today is the year for baseball! Or more likely as the weather warms we're finally seeing the return of this classic American sport to the diamond. Either way, it's time for announcements, launches and mupdates for everything baseball-related on mobile. Case in point, the launch of the eagerly awaited Out of the Park Baseball Go 26!

In Out of the Park Baseball (OOTP) you'll be able to build your own ideal team, scout and draft players, create your own custom league or jump into the MLB 2025 season! This year's edition comes packaged with improvements to scouting, dynamic scoreboards, advanced AI and even randomised stadium generation.

Yes, if you're used to flashier, arcade-style baseball action then OOTP Go 26 will be a major gear shift. This is granular simulation at its most complex, and whether that's a good or a bad thing for you, it's hard to argue with the detail that OOTP Go 26 brings.

But let's not get too caught up discussing how OOTP Go 26 differs. Instead, let's dig into the features you can enjoy! To start, you've got 2025 Franchise Mode which lets you play in the MLB, KBO or your own fictional baseball organisation. You'll even be able to jump back in time to the 1927, 1984 and 2014 MLB seasons with other historic periods also available as extra purchases.

You'll also get numerous configuration options for creating your own aforementioned organisation, as well as full 3D gameplay in real-life MLB and KBO stadiums. And even dive into the hit Perfect Team mode, revamped for OOTP Go 26.

But if all this sounds a little too intimidating, maybe you'd prefer to try something a little less granular and more nostalgic. In which case the time is right for you to jump on into Backyard Baseball '97 as this classic PC release comes to mobile!
