OnLive Viewer arrives on Google TV

It seems that OnLive's plan for media-domination is continuing at some pace, with the company now expanding its formally PC and mobile games streaming service onto TVs.

Starting today, OnLive Viewer will be available for all Google TV devices allowing access to the OnLive’s social features including spectating, brag clips, and group chat.

The Viewer app doesn't, however, allow for actually playing the 200 or so titles currently on the service, so those hoping to be lying back on the sofa tonight playing Assassin's Creed: Revelations will have to make do with watching someone else play it for them.

The full gaming on-demand will be rolled out via Google TV soon, possibly even before it manages to get through Apple approval limbo.

If you can't wait that long, we have a rather handy guide for how to set up your Xbox controller with your Android version of OnLive, plus the ten best games you can play once you're all ready to go.
