Pair of HD Oddworld games heading to PS Vita 'very soon'

The PS Vita is set to receive two installments from the venerable Oddworld series of games in the near future, according to the developer Oddworld Inhabitants.

We've heard this particular song before, but this time the developers confirmed the information on their Facebook page.

Ports of both Stranger’s Wrath HD and Munch’s Oddysee HD are in the final stages of development, and will need to face Sony’s Quality Assurance team before they will become available for purchase.

Enter, The Stranger

Stranger’s Wrath HD debuted in 2005 for the Xbox and was later made available to PC gamers via Steam in 2010.

Munch’s Oddysee was released for the Xbox as well in 2001, and came to the Gameboy Advance in 2003 before also coming to the PC in 2010.

While no specific timetable for the PS Vita ports of Stranger’s Wrath HD and Munch’s Oddysee HD were given, the developers stated on their Facebook page that "I don't think you'll have to hold your breathes [sic] too long ;)"
