A skimpy trio of new releases and a predictable trio of re-entries...

The new releases are a ever so slightly on the skinny side this week, though Pocket Chef's range of delights may well cause your waistline to become the opposite, given time.

If you can't snare the object of your affections with your cooking prowess, however, you may need to turn to The Love Guru for tips. That said, given that it's based on the forthcoming film, which expatiates on the merits of mop fighting and dung juggling, it will probably be more fun than help.

Last of this week's new releases is Icy Tower, a game that has already enjoyed considerable success as a web game and which is perfectly suited to mobiles, too (even if releasing a game with the word icy in it during this god awful summer smacks of callousness to us Brits).

In the charts, the drama of last week has settled down and it's very much business as usual. By that we mean, the top position, Guitar Hero Mobile III, stays the same while some re-entries fail to surprise us and everything else has a bit of a mix-up.

Those re-entries this week are wait for it Brain Challenge, Tetris and Midnight Pool, meaning that Space Invaders, LMA Manager 08 and Bejeweled are out. But, as regular readers will know, probably not for long. Read on for all the rest of the hairy details.

And remember all the games below are available to buy via the O2 games portal or by texting the short code from a compatible O2 handset. You can also click 'Track It!' to be sure to catch next week's chart. Enjoy.
