If only GTA V were on Vita

There's a pretty massive game out this week on the PlayStation Network. Alas, it's not for PS Vita.

I'm talking, of course, about Grand Theft Auto V.

Here's the problem, though: whenever a massive game comes out, other developers aren't - understandably enough - confident about going up against it.

Hence, the PS Vita pickings this week are extremely slim.

Let's see what's cooking, nonetheless...

Full-price releases

There are no new downloadable PS Vita games in Europe this week. I blame the weather. Oh, and GTA V.

Americans can bag Real Boxing for $9.99, though. Saying that, we Europeans have had it for ages. Get with the times, America!

There's some new DLC for both European and American Vita owners, but it's pretty much all the usual stuff - Pinball Arcade upgrades, a free Soul Sacrifice battle, that sort of thing.

Sales, price drops, and PS Plus

In the US, you can download Real Boxing for $8.99 if you're a PS Plus subscriber. You can also grab the glorious Pixel Junk Monsters: Ultimate HD for $11.99.

That's it, though. Sorry.

PlayStation Mobile releases

Vacc-Balls-Chin is a real name of a game on PlayStation Mobile this week. It appears to be a strange Japanese puzzler, and it costs £1.79.

Meanwhile, Shikkoku is a minimalist side-scrolling shooter for £4.79. Doctor Wiggly is, well, basically Dr. Mario for £1.79.

And Balancegame appears to be an extremely amateurish Pong-style game. Don't think we'll be picking any of these up, to be honest.

Back next week!
