The latest PSP and DS releases to hit the high street

Tigers, apes and acid notwithstanding

The latest PSP and DS releases to hit the high street
|

Unexpected things happen in life. Who would have thought tigers and orang-utans could be best friends (Google it) or predicted what happens when a seemingly harmless drop of water is added to sulphuric acid?

Similarly surprising is the fact some PSP and DS titles scheduled for this week have apparently slipped down the release schedules.

Actually, we're being our trademark sarcastic selves – it happens so often it's funny. Handheld titles slipping, that is (not that we're not hilarious).

Thankfully, it's unlikely anyone was eagerly awaiting unconvincing brawler The Con (now March 16th), saucy sim Pocket Pool (March 30th) and either Uno game for the brave, battling little GBA (which have slipped a week).

It's far more likely that pocket gaming girls and boys have been saving their pocket money for the excellent Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin on DS and the PSP's potentially first-rate M.A.C.H., which are both due out next Friday.

Unless their publishers change their minds, of course – although in these two cases that really would be unexpected.

Out Friday March 2nd
Actua Pool (DS)
Danny Phantom: Urban Jungle (DS)
Deep Labyrinth (DS)
Xiaolin Showdown (DS)
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Battle (PSP) Out Friday March 9th
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (DS) (Or click to read our review.)
Garfield's Nightmare (DS)
M.A.C.H. (PSP)
Mario vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis (DS) (Or click to read our review.)
The Hustle: Detroit Streets (PSP)

Uno Freefall (GBA) Click on any of the above games to buy, and click 'Track It!' to be alerted via email when we post this essential weekly guide.
