Steve Jobs returning to Apple in June
An Apple a day...
Apple just held its annual shareholder’s meeting, though Steve Jobs - who’s been on a leave of absence while fending off illness - wasn’t in attendance. It was made public that he intends to return to his post at the iPhone company in June.
“He is deeply involved in all strategic matters and has delegated day-to-day authority to Tim Cook and his team,” said Arthur D. Levinson, a co-lead director at Apple.
During the meeting, Levinson reassured stockholders as to Apple’s relationship with Jobs, and that the matter of his succession is regularly discussed by the board.
In a previous statement, Levinson stated that “...if there is new information we deem of import to disclose, that will happen.”
Here’s hoping to a speedy and full recovery for the celebrated Apple co-founder to the job he so clearly enjoys.
