If you thought yesterday's news story about a PSP guidebook getting a new name was boring, we're afraid today's might send you over the edge.

In the absence of any real news, Sony has released its latest release schedule, guessing, quite rightly, that anticipating the games of tomorrow is more interesting for most PSP owners than picking over the flimsy releases during these barren, World Cup-devoted days.

We particularly liked the line in its press release promising: "More titles to be confirmed in the near future". Yes please.

Anyway, before the suspense kills you, here's what Sony definitely has in store for 2006 (although they'll be plenty of PSP releases from other publishers too – check out our release calendar for more).
