What is it with gadgets popping up out of the blue with Nintendo retro gaming built in? Following the news of Fly Mobile's MC100 phone, now we've found a personal media player that claims to let you play NES, Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.

It's called the Portable Slide Panel, and it's on sale in the US for a bargain $59.99 (£30). It's got a 2.8-inch screen and a slide-out control pad, as well as TV-out capabilities to output games to a big screen.

Oh, and it's also an MP3 player, FM radio, video player, photo viewer and e-book reader, with 1GB of internal memory and an SD card memory slot.

Cor, eh? Needless to say, we don't think Nintendo has given this gadget its official seal of approval. We read about it on PMP Today, but you can actually buy one from an etailer called Geeks.com.

Get in quick! Before the Big N calls the lawyers in.
