Sccope expands to include game searches

Bargain hunter/web shopper site Sccope.com dropped us a line to let us know it’s now running searches on games, allowing you to get up-to-the-minute price checks to save money on your gaming habits.

Obviously there are lots of similar price check sites, but Sccope does at least appear to vet the results, rather than reporting a bunch of eBay listings direct from Hong Kong, or filling the screen up with adverts.

It’s even got an iPhone optimised version of the site so you can check the prices while out and about - useful for seeing whether that pre-owned shelf price is the snip it appears to be.

We uncovered some pretty hefty differences between the best online prices and the highest (usually the RRP), showing a £144.91 saving on the PSP top ten games, and £109.22 on the DS list. Almost enough to buy a new console on each platform, really.

Check it out.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
