Pocket Gamer Awards 2021: One week left to get your nominations in

Last week we announced that the Pocket Gamer Awards would be returning in 2021. It's a great time to celebrate the greatest releases, publishers, developers and tech - and all of the winners and nominees are chosen by you!

That's right. We're simply organising the event, so we want you to share your favourite games, devs and gadgets from the last year. There are 27 different categories to choose from and you can make as many nominations as you'd like.

Did you play a platformer last year you want to scream about? Or perhaps you've picked up a shiny new phone that has made gaming on the go more enjoyable than ever? Whatever you want to celebrate, you'll likely find a relevant category. But there's only one week left to get your nominations in, so if there's a game you feel deserves praised heaped upon it, let us know.

The whole event is a straightforward three-step process.

Step One: Nominations

We're currently in the nomination stage, as I mentioned above. This stage will remain open until the end of January. From there we'll build our longlist from the nominees submitted by our readers. If you've got a few games you'd like to nominate, head on over to the nominations page right now to get your picks in.

Step Two: Voting

Once you've nominated all the titles you believe are worthy of an award, we'll sort through the list and pull together the final shortlist. This will be available to view on our shiny Pocket Gamer Awards 2021 Hub in February. You'll then have the whole of the month to vote for your winner in each of the 27 categories.

Step Three: Winners

Finally, in late March we'll reveal which games received the most public votes before crowning them as the winners of the Pocket Gamer Awards 2021.

In addition to that, we will also be inducting a game into our Hall of Fame, an honour which will be agreed upon internally by the editorial team. There will be plenty to celebrate then.

So, without further delay, head over to the Pocket Gamer Awards 2021 nomination page and let us know about the mobile games you love.
