Play your DS and break a world record
Not up to anything this Saturday? How's this for something to do...

Ever fancied breaking a world record but been lacking the requisite skills in plate-spinning or pushing double-decker buses to do it? Well, here's a solution for you. And it's not dedication you need, it's a DS.
Head along to the Rocket Centre in London this Saturday October 25th and you could be part of a world record attempt for the most number of people playing a DS at the same time.
To be clear: that's separate DSes, not just the one.
The current world record stands at 381 people, and the event's organisers are hoping for 400-500 people to well and truly nail it. Aspiring record holders just need to bring their DS console (fully charged, of course) and favourite game and a Guinness official will be adjudicating the record attempt on the day.
Registration for the free event begins at 4pm, the record attempt begins at 5pm and all members of the public – young and old – are welcome. The day is being held in association with the London Games Festival Fringe and (in lieu of any proper celebrities) will have the Girl Gamers Tournament there.
You can find out more over at the DS London event's Facebook page. Oh, and the full address you need is:
