Nintendo declares September 28th is National StreetPass day
We had no say in the matter

Move over, Easter! Get to the back of the line, Christmas! No one needs you any more, Valentine's Day!
We've got National StreetPass day now, you see, and that's all the celebration we need for the year.
Nintendo has announced that September 28th is National StreetPass day. And The Big N is holding two parties to celebrate.
One will take place at Waterloo Station in London, while the other will be held at Piccadilly Station in Manchester. At least you'll be able to make a quick getaway if things get too boring, then.

In London, you'll be able to meet everyone's second favourite Mario brother, Luigi. In Manchester, however, a trio of Pokemon - Oshawott, Tepig, and Snivy - will be there to meet and / or terrify you.
There'll be competitions, real-life StreetPass games, and a whole host of other potentially entertaining things for you to do at these events.
Nintendo is also encouraging people to host their own galas and parties to celebrate all things StreetPass-y.
My plan is to just walk past people in the street while shouting about puzzle pieces and handing out crudely drawn images of a sad-looking man.
