New PSP firmware v4.05 is imminent

Update: Firmware v4.05 should be available now.
According to Sony's official US Playstation blog this morning, a PSP firmware update is on the cards.
Firmware v4.05 will apparently be released "soon" and will include features that will be especially welcome to those who use their PSP for listening to music.
Basically, the update will add new visualizers for music playback, "among other features".
Not exactly ground-breaking stuff then, but you never know – perhaps those other features might be something a bit more exciting.
We will, of course, let you know as soon as firmware v4.05 is out there and ready to download.
