New colour DS consoles come to the US
Choose from Mario red or Brain Age ice blue

Good news for US gamers - Nintendo is releasing two more special edition coloured DSs for them, just to cash in on Black Friday - one of the busiest shopping days on the US calendar - and also probably to aggrieve us here in the UK where we hardly ever get these limited edition consoles.
The new duo is made up of a Mario Red DS, which is emblazoned with a big 'M' and comes with a copy of New Super Mario Bros; and an Ice Blue DS, which comes with a custom carrying case and copy of Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day (known as Dr Kawashima's Brain Training here). Each bundle will retail at $149.99.
"Nintendo DS is both the most affordable and the most popular video game system in this generation," says Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "These limited-edition bundles make great gifts for first-time Nintendo DS players and collectors alike."
They'd have to be first-timers really - you'd expect most gamers would be aware updated hardware in the form of DSi is on its way in about six months. And that Brain Age isn't exactly a new game, having been out already for about twenty years. Still, that bright red DS does look quite nice. As ever, if you fancy one, eBay is your friend.
