Get 'em while they're hot
Welcome back to Pocket Gamer's round-up of the latest iPhone and iPad mid-week releases.
As you all probably know by now, we produce this article because we're simply too busy to bring you a story on every single new mid-week release.
This week, we welcome the arrival of some long-awaited titles, such as the latest entry in Gameloft's Gangstar series, action-packed combat game Epoch, and Crescent Moon Games's comical platformer Evertales.
These games have recently hit the New Zealand App Store, meaning they should be available to download in the UK and US from around midnight this evening.iPhone Blueprint 3D
Blueprint 3D is a unique puzzle game in which each level starts with a jumbled mess of dots of lines. Your aim is to rotate this mess in all directions and on all planes to uncover the picture underneath.
Each of the game's 240 levels includes an image from one of seven different categories: Hightech, Architecture, Medieval, Electronics, Space, Military, and Transport.
Bulkypix's Corpse Granny is a new puzzle game that sees you control several environmental objects as you attempt to destroy zombies as fast as you possibly can.
Your mission takes you through three unique worlds - Stonehenge, Police Station, and Pirate Ship - and across 45 levels. You can even create your own with the handy in-game editor.
Ninja Throw is a(nother) puzzle game that tasks you with hurling sharp ninja stars at a series of gongs. This, sure enough, isn't as easy as it first sounds.
For starters, there are numerous physical obstacles standing in your way, plus mystical sensei and their supernatural powers.
We kick off this week's Universal section with a new Chillingo title called Rocket Riot, which charges you - a bazooka-wielding jetpack soldier - with defeating a nasty pirate menace.
The game's 48 levels feature zombies (what App Store game doesn't?), killer bananas, and "completely destructible" environments.

It features three unlikely heroes - a knight who's past his prime, a lady-loving rogue, and a senile wizard - and plenty of swords, shields, and bows, to play with.

Gameloft's Grand Theft Auto-inspired Gangstar Rio: City of Saints allows you to - for the "first time ever in a sandbox game" - explore the city of Rio de Janeiro, jack cars, and complete over 60 missions.
Naturally, you can wield handguns, rifles, bazookas, and other death-bringers in your criminal pursuits, and jump behind the wheel of helicopters, tanks, and more.

Uppercut Games's Unreal Engine 3-powered Epoch is an action-combat game from ex-Irrational Games developers Andrew James and Ed Orman. You'll probably recognise those names if you're a fan of the BioShock series.
The game tasks you with fighting through a post-apocalyptic environment in order to solve the mystery behind the sudden demise of your planet.
Your mission in Com2uS's Chocohero is to save the world and your friends. To do so, you tilt your device to roll your little hero around a land of sweets and chocolate.
Along the way, you'll have help your buddies escape from their cake prisons and make good use of helpful items, such as magnets, clocks, and gift boxes.
Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning Android platformer INC is finally available to download from Apple's App Store, complete with four worlds and 40 levels.
Your aim is to survive all of the included levels, battle against an array of robots, and save Dr Robotus.
Set in outer space, Atari's Asteroids Gunner sees you explore three galaxies on a quest to become the "the most wealthy and powerful Gunner in space history".
There are three ships to pilot - Miner, Bomber, and Dart - and over 200 achievements to unlock. Both OpenFeint and Apple's own Game Center are on hand.
