The Meffy awards have become known as the Oscars of the mobile world, which was set up to recognise success, reward innovation and honour the most influential people in the mobile industry.

The award categories encompass the entire mobile ecosystem, and the popularity of this year’s event has encouraged the organisers to extend the deadline for entries until 24th April. Entries cost £300 for non-members, or £100 for members. Head on over to the official site to get your application in.

Last year’s Meffys Awards event was held in Cannes, with over 300 industry attendees from around the globe. The 2009 event in being held at Floridita in London’s West End on 23rd June.
