Konami bumps key releases back to 2009

Konami has announced it will be holding back some of its key autumn releases, including Lost in Blue 3 and Castlevania for DS, until 2009.

Eurogamer reports the story, saying the publisher has shifted five games in total – three appearing on DS – from autumn 2008 releases to 'Q1' 2009.

Lost in Blue 3, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and Rock Revolution, all for DS, will now come out some time in early 2009 (that's along with two held-back Wii games, Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked! and Castlevania: Judgement).

We're sure there's some cunning financial reason for the delay. Although those who were looking forward to a spot of festive drum-on-drum action in Rock Revolution might not appreciate it. We'll let you know the new release dates for all those games as soon as Konami announces them.
