A new week means a new edition of Pocket Gamer's free game roundup - a feature that highlights the top App Store titles that have been made free in the past 24 hours.
Today, we have an excellent Snake-esque puzzler, a fast-paced squirrel and his nuts, a young boy and his love of destruction, and some crazy arcade flying.

Hard Lines (Universal)Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning puzzler Hard Lines is now available to download completely free of charge, following a "huge" update that added new game modes, power-ups, and in-app purchases.
Forgetting about all of those goodies for a second, the game tasks you with guiding neon hero Lionel as he attempts to destroy all of the other lines that roam around space.
It's like a mix of Snake and Tron, but with more humour and fewer Nokia 3210s.

Nuts! (Universal)
Nuts! - unfortunately - doesn't feature scantily clad women, the latest sporting news, or a look at upcoming movies, but it does contain a cute squirrel called Jake, whom you have to help climb a tree.
You have to dodge dangerous branches by tilting your device, collect power-ups to gain extra height, and collect coins to unlock a series of upgrades.
You can earn achievements through Game Center and post your best scores to Facebook.

Max Damage (iPhone)
Max Damage sees you jumping into the smelly sneakers of Max, a young boy who loves nothing more than to cause as much damage as humanly possible.
Using your trusty cannon, your aim is to destroy refrigerators, microwaves, BBQs, and a whole host of other items in order to rack-up points and earn a star rating.
There are currently 150 levels to obliterate and Game Center support for virtual trophies.

Paper Glider Crazy Copter 3D (Universal)
Paper Glider Crazy Copter 3D lets you race through city landscapes and burning barns while avoiding falling rocks, explosive missiles, and other deadly hazards.
There are 40 levels for you to race through, 12 different copters to pilot, upgrades aplenty, and boosts that give you the upper hand on your opponents.
Apple's Game Center offers leaderboards.
