Sonic & Sega All-Stars RacingBy Sega - download iPhone and iPad

You only really need to know two things about Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. One: it nabbed a Pocket Gamer Platinum Award at review. Two: it's now available for free.
In this Mario Kart-esque racer, you choose one of Sega's most iconic protagonists, put the pedal to the metal, and thrash around 16 colourful tracks in a range of different vehicles.
There are also 25 missions to complete, Bluetooth multiplayer for up to two players, and online multiplayer for you and three of your friends.
The Crystal MazeBy Dynamo Games - download for iPhone

Much like the Channel 4 TV show on which it's based, The Crystal Maze for iPhone tasks you with traversing four different puzzle-filled zones - Medieval, Futuristic, Aztec, and Industrial - in order to collect special Time Crystals.
There are 21 different mini-games to compete in, which are split into four unique categories: physical, skill, mental, and mystery. Each crystal you collect during play increases the amount of time you can spend inside The Crystal Dome - the game's final challenge.
This app features the show's original theme tune; 16 classic quotes and sounds taken from the TV series; and Richard O'Brien's mug.
