Death Rally
By Remedy - download for iPhone and iPad

Death Rally is a top-down Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning racer that's packed with upgradable vehicles, a tasty range of weapons, and tons of explosions.

Your aim in this game's single-player campaign is to speed around a variety of tracks and eradicate opposition drivers using rockets, machine guns, and mines.

There's also a global multiplayer mode that allows you to compete against other speed lovers from around the world for fame, bragging rights, and a place on the game's Game Center leaderboards.

MonTowers ~Legend of Summoners~
By Buff Stone - download for iPhone

MonTowers ~Legend of Summoners~ is a monster-collecting game in which you, unsurprisingly, collect monsters. As you've probably already guessed, the beasties you nab can be summoned and used during battles against other critters.

The game's monsters - many of which boast special abilities - can be upgraded as you play.

This title is due to be updated at the end of May with - among other things - iPad support, so grab it while it's free if you own one of Apple's tablets.
