Azkend
By 10tons - download for iPhone

Azkend is an addictive match-three puzzler in which you drag your finger across your device's screen in order to match three or more similar objects and return a strange relic to the Temple of Time.

This puzzler is packed with content. For example, there are two different game modes to tackle - Adventure and Survival - a whole bunch of Game Center achievements to unlock, and a variety of power-ups to get your mitts on.

Basically, Azkend is excellent, and you'd be a fool not to download it while it's free.

Lunar Racer
By Noodlecake Games - download for iPhone and iPad

Your mission here isn't to prevent Reapers from taking over the galaxy. It's not to track down a lightsaber-wielding dressing gown-wearing warrior, either.

Your mission is to jump behind the wheel of several customisable cars and race like you've never raced before across 12 extraterrestrial tracks.

You can race against computer-controlled speed freaks or challenge up to three real-world foes.

When he isn't busy grooming his beard, you can find him replaying Resident Evil or Final Fantasy VII for the umpteenth time. Aside from gaming, Anthony likes hiking, MMA, and pretending he’s a Viking.
