One of the surprising moves of 2010 has been the way social gaming network OpenFeint has become a defacto distribution channel for Android.

It's been encouraging iOS developers to port their games to Google's mobile platform by supporting cross platform gaming between the two, as well as doing some marketing and PR for games making the switch.

And it's continuing that activity with the latest batch of games to be released on the Android Marketplace.

Win for Christmas

If you download any of them - as listed below - and log into or register to OpenFeint, you'll be automatically entered into a Ho-Ho-Holiday Giveaway that could net you a $50 gift card on Thursday, a $75 gift card on Friday, and a Barnes & Noble Nook Color.

To-date, 158 OpenFeint-enabled games have been released on Android since September.
