NeuroNet: Mendax Proxy, the cyberpunk adventure game inspired by Reigns, will release for iOS and Android next year

Dream Harvest has announced that its Reigns-inspired Cyberpunk visual novel NeuroNet: Mendax Proxy will launch for iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch in Q1 2022. It sees players controlling a sophisticated City AI that must make snappy decisions that will affect the city and its populace's future.

Throughout the adventure, players will get to know 23 characters whose lives will be impacted by every decision they make. That might be Papa Ru, a jolly individual looking to turn his food truck into a thriving business, or politician Denton Talingrey who needs help with their campaign. All of these characters are fully voiced to help bring them to life.

Much like its inspiration, Reigns, NeuroNet: Mendax Proxy will feature a branching narrative with multiple endings to discover, determined by the player's decisions. Some of these choices might seem insignificant at first, but they could lead to the success or downfall of the citizens of Catena.

The impact of every choice will reverberate throughout the city. Players can check social media feeds and read through reports to observe the effects and reception of their actions. You can check out the cinematic trailer above for a taste of what to expect.

There are 5000 story events to discover in the game, and given its choice-based nature, players might not encounter them all during one playthrough. Aside from making decisions and meeting Catena's populace, the game boasts a digital Codex with additional characters and lore to help make the world feel more believable.

NeuroNet: Mendax Proxy will release on the App Store, Google Play and Nintendo Switch during Q1 2022. In the meantime, you can Wishlist the game on Steam if you'd like to play it on PC.
