Nazo Waku Mansion gets Japanese demo... that costs money

Nazo Waku Mansion was released this week in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. You may remember it as being the first 3DS game to use the gyroscope and microphone features to their fullest.

Capcom is once again causing a stir on the 3DS, however, according to Kotaku - something the Japanese dev should really be steering clear of after the Resident Evil ruckus.

A demo of Nazo Waku Mansion is available to download from the Japanese eShop that allows players to try the first chapter of the game. Sounds great: until you find out that it costs money to download.

¥200 to be exact - that's around £1.50. While that's pretty cheap, Capcom is still charging gamers to play a demo of a full retail title, which is pretty mind-boggling.

We're still hoping the game will venture over to western shores at some point, as it looks incredibly surreal.
