Mortal Kombat Mobile’s latest update adds new characters, questlines, and rewards for players

Royalty is making its way to Mortal Kombat Mobile. The game’s latest update adds the former Queen of Edenia – Sindel to its roster. Coming straight from the world of Mortal Kombat 11, MK11 Sindel is a power and privilege hungry fighter who will stop at nothing until to get what she wants. The majestic warrior’s arrival coincides with new updates coming to Mortal Kombat Mobile.

Sindel’s ability to harness mystical energies makes her one of the strongest damage dealers on the MK11 team. Her Banshee Screams resonate through all realms, making opponents Bleed, while also Weaking and Slowing them down. She has a special move that can counterattack her enemies and deal Stun damage to them, but the timing of the counterattack must be perfect. Players will need to use this move wisely.

A new event called Dark Queen’s Tower is also live. It takes place during Outworld’s invasion of Edenia. While this battle isn’t about one side winning, players must simply defeat both Edenians and Outworlders in order to survive. Rewards for completing challenges include Dark Queen’s Tower Equipment Cards and a Diamond Character for Kombatants who reach the top.

Moving onto everyone’s favourite part of Mortal Kombat – Brutalities. With this update, the Diamond variants for Mileena and Jax have received their brutality moves. Mileena’s Tele-Splat finisher crushes her enemy’s skull, while Jax’s bazooka blasts enemies into smithereens. These moves can be unlocked through the Dark Queen’s Tower questline.

Between December 14th and 25th, players can login and take advantage of Hanzo’s Holiday Advent Calendar to receive lots of mystery goodies. Some of the quality of life improvements coming to Mortal Kombat Mobile include sliders to upgrade Character Special Attacks, health status can now be displayed as either Health Points or percentage of Max Health, and the health bar will now be highlighted when a Brutality is available.
