Indie studio Slate Games has announced its upcoming title MoonWard, solo developer Slaveyko Slaveykov's action RPG on mobile. Set within an "industro-fantasy world", the game features a fast-paced combat style in 1D with procedurally generated loot, as well as a wide variety of character customisation options players can tinker around with. In particular, there are 9 races, 7 classes and 12 backgrounds to choose from depending on your preferences.

In MoonWard, players can look forward to diving into a lighthearted narrative that uncovers the secrets of Vala, with an estimated 2-hour runtime. What makes the game even more appealing - and refreshing for fans of premium titles - is that it's a completely offline experience, with no hidden in-app purchases that might just pop up in the middle of a game or any pesky ads that can disrupt the gameplay.

Once you've cleared the main story, there are dozens of side contracts you can take on as well as limitless randomly generated quests. If you're curious about the game, a free demo will be available to try by the end of spring this year.
