A guide to breeding

You'll need to breed if you want to collect those rarest of beasts in Monster Legends. This guide takes a look at the entire process to help get you started.

Baby steps

First, build two elemental Habitats and hatch two different common monsters.

Then, gather enough food from your Farms to increase both of their levels to four, at which point they reach adolescence and are ready to breed.

Finally, build yourself a Breeding Mountain.

Breed crazy

Tap on your Breeding Mountain and hit the heart-shaped breed button. On the next page, choose the two monsters you want to breed and tap the button.

Your monsters will then start breeding, a process that will take a certain amount of time depending on the rarity of the monsters.

If you're impatient, you can speed this up using gems.

To hatch a monster

Once your monsters finish breeding, collect the egg and put it in your Hatchery to hatch it. This will take time - but, again, you can speed it up with gems.

Once the new monster has hatched, place it in one of the Habitats and you're done - you've successfully bred a monster.

Once you have two uncommon monsters you can breed them together and hatch an even rarer monster.
