RuneStone launches Monster Blast
Deal death to the legions of the undead. Again
You've got to hand it to the undead: they keep coming back for more shooty destruction at the hands of humankind, despite having been fought off in numerous movies and video games. You'd think they'd have got the message by now.
Monster Blast is the latest zombie-tonking action game to hit mobile, courtesy of Runestone Games. It's a one-thumb shooter that sees you blasting – yes – monsters across 20 levels in five different locations.
How? Well, you can shoot them with your shotgun, dual handguns or lob sticks of dynamite in their direction, to name three satisfying options. Apparently, there's all manner of bonuses and rewards along the way, as well as the ability to buy new weapons and upgrades.
Oh, and the game features sampled speech, which as far as we know is one of the first mobile games to do so. We're assuming the speech is along the lines of 'HAAARRGGHHHH!'. At least, that's what we'd say if we were blasting monsters.
Monster Blast is due out imminently.
