Mineko's Night Market is an adorable Animal Crossing-esque adventure, and it's headed to Switch

Mineko’s Night Market is a delightful little crafting, slice-of-life sim that’s been in the works for some time now, and this weekend we learned it’s headed to Nintendo Switch.

It’s a lovely looking game that transports you to Mount Fugu Island where you play as Mineko and her cat pal Abe. As a team, you’ll gather resources and learn to craft items to sell at your market stall. It’s a game about living in the day-to-day, making friends and exploring the world around you.

We’ve had our eyes on this one for a while—the game looks absolutely adorable, and it looks like it will be exploring Japanese folklore a good bit, too. And bonus points: Mineko’s Night Market could be the perfect animal friend-sim fix as we wait for news of the next Animal Crossing game.
