Capcom community manager Brett Elston has announced that all six of Mega Man's classic NES adventures are on their way to Nintendo's North American eShop.

According to the blog post, you'll be able to get your grubby mitts on the original Mega Man from December 27th, and pick up its sequel a few weeks later on February 7th.

The four remaining NES titles will be released at "regular intervals" throughout the rest of 2013.

Capcom's original 8-bit Mega Man outing landed in the Japanese eShop back in July, and was released in Europe in October, so it's good to see this seminal platforming series finally make it to the US.

Better late than never, then, as they say.
