Marvel Future Revolution adds Magik to its roster alongside hosting an event to celebrate the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home
Another superhero from the pages of Marvel comics is making her way to Marvel Future Revolution. Joining the Omega Flight on Netmarble’s open-world action RPG is Illyana Rasputina, who goes by the moniker Magik. The game is also celebrating the release of the highly anticipated movie Spider-Man Way Home with limited-time content.
Magik is the ruler of Limbo and is the sister of the X-Men member Colossus. She wields a humongous Soulsword that contains part of her own soul and is capable of destroying enemies with magic. Ruling Limbo has also given Magik the ability to cast demonic spells, summon Hydras, Imps, and Hounds, and also teleport using her Stepping Discs ability. Illyana also has a dark half of herself called Darkchylde who can destroy enemies with powerful explosions. A unique character in the Marvel Universe, Magik will be immediately available with this update.
Moving onto the Spider-Man: No Way Home event. It kicks off with a new Epic Invasion called The Sinister Six where players must assist Spider-Man to foil this iconic supervillain team’s plans. With this, a new Spider-Man: No Way Home costume has also been added to the game. Players can collect this costume and customize their Spider-Man and recruit him as their companion.
Some of the other additions coming to Marvel Future Revolution with this update include new PvE Training Grounds for farming experience points to level up heroes, new companions Spider-Man NHW and Daredevil, and also various improvements, including better combat targeting systems, costume nano-fusion improvements, new Omega Card/companion pre-sets, and quality of life changes to the Dark Zone, Omega War, and Special Operations.
