E3 2010: Mario vs Donkey Kong: Mini-land Mayhem! on DSi

The third game in the series, Mario vs Donkey Kong: Mini-land Mayhem! sees Mario opening yet another theme park. To celebrate the grand opening, he's giving away a Mini Pauline toy to the first 100 guests.

Unfortunately, despite waiting in line, Mr Kong is the 101st customer, and in his rage he kidnaps the real Pauline instead. Thankfully, he’s not clever enough to run from the park, and instead heads further into it, providing all manner of potential for larks and japery.

The game tasks you with guiding Mario and his cohorts to the end of each level by placing various objects (girders, springs, conveyer belts, etc.) You can also create your own levels, and share them with the community – who in turn, can then praise (or deride) your efforts using the rating system.

Nintendo hopes to encourage such creativity with regular themed challenges online, and an intuitive help system dubbed the “Super Guide”.

We'll bring you more details and a review further down the line.
