Nexon’s free-to-play mobile MMORPG Maplestory M will be introducing two different updates throughout this Summer season - one starting today and the next to follow later on in the month. The first update brings with it a new storyline, a new Commander Boss, and new 5th Job Skills for each job, as well as a new class skill for each class group.

First up, that new storyline. Titled Blockbuster: Black Heaven, this will add a quest through 6 acts divided up into 45 different episodes. Any character above the level of 140 and above can take part in it. The details of the story are pretty tightly wrapped, so you’ll have to dig in and experience it yourself with a late-game character to see what it’s all about.

Next, that new Commander Boss. Maplers above level 200 and above that have completed that new storyline can face off against Lotus, who serves as the main antagonist of Black Heaven. Maplers of that same level cap and above can also enjoy those new unique job skills and class group skills, and since each one within both groups is getting one, nobody’s getting left out, so be sure to experiment and figure out what build works best for you!

To further sweeten the deal, coming later on in the month, players will receive a brand new playable class and an anniversary update with Summer Update Part 2. As is the case with most of these bits of information, that new class is under wraps, so stay tuned to the official Maplestory M Twitter account for more information in a few weeks.

And if you’re looking to take part in all this new content, you can give Maplestory M a shot for yourself totally free on both the Play Store and the App Store as well!
