The Mahjong Quest is jounreying to European shores, thanks to mobile publishers i-play and their latest deal with online game makers iWin.

Like Jewel Quest before it, Mahjong has monopolised the top spot of online gaming sites such as Yahoo, MSN and Real Arcade for months now and soon mobile owners will get a chance to see what all the fuss was about.

Promising to be more than just an addictive puzzle game, Mahjong Quest aims to deliver a true cinematic experience as you take the role of hero Kwazi who must employ an ancient set of Mah Jong tiles and travel through the Orient restoring balance to the empire following attacks by three dragons. Sweeping animations, wise animal guides, and an amazing array of special tiles are all promised to help you solve tricky puzzles and reward your progress. However, shorter puzzle-play and classic-style games ensure you don’t need to be tied down for a whole dynasty (or even an episode of it!)

Mahjong Quest is the latest in a number of casual ‘one thumb gaming’ titles that I-play has secured, with the Korean smash-hit Skipping Stone slated to arrive later this year and puzzle classic Jewel Quest due to hit mobile menus any day now.
