Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint for iOS to be updated with new tables, ball types, prototype content

Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint developer Zee 3 has told Pocket Gamer that the game is set to receive several new features in a coming update.

Besides expected bug fixes and tweaks, the game will be getting two new pages of tables, which will introduce two brand new gameplay features.

These new features will add balls that are unable to move, and balls of different colours already connected by fixed struts, to the mix.

According to Zee 3, these make the new tables feel more "puzzley".

Special access

If you're a Skeleton Key owner you'll also get access to a new prototypes menu, where you'll be able to check out new content and game mechanics while they're still in their development stages.

The next Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint update will include two prototypes - one known as Squish, and the other codenamed 'ISMMTTM'.

Squish - a variation on Relentless - is a new Arcade Game mode that is yet to be fully developed.

It introduces gravity - which causes balls to fall to the bottom of the table - and tasks you with stacking them as high as possible.

Zee 3 says that it will "probably become a full Arcade Mode in the next update following its release as a prototype."

ISMMTTM is a "game mechanic, physics and play control experiment that will probably spin off into a completely different product."

Prototypes that do eventually see the light of day as proper products will be removed from the game to make room for other entries.

You can grab Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint in anticipation of this update for 69p/99c from the App Store.
