Developed by Vixa Games, Love Colors is a relaxing pixel art simulation for iOS and Android devices. It’s a digital paint-by-numbers experience the whole family can enjoy, available as a free download from the app stores, and here are five reasons why you should give it a try.

Tonnes of free content

Not only is Love Colors free to download through the App Store and Google Play, it comes jam-packed with content. The are more than 100 handcrafted pixel art pictures to colour in at launch, with themes including fruits, animals, people, cities and many more. Furthermore, Vixa Games has promised to update the game regularly and add new pictures and themes over time. At the end of July, a sports collection will be added and there will be others to follow.

Daily puzzles to play

Although Love Colors is designed with relaxation and education in mind, that isn’t to say there are no challenges involved. For those who enjoy problem-solving, there are daily puzzles to tackle, and they involve completing a mysterious picture that’s part of a larger canvas. Players will gradually uncover the secret painting by working through these segments and earn awards on completion.

Paint your way around the world

For added variety, the game includes a World Trip mode in which players must colour in pictures depicting ionic scenes from countries around the globe. You’ll be rewarded with coins for completing these canvases and they can be used to buy tickets to travel to other countries for your art fix. Players get to embark on a virtual world trip, without spending a penny of real-life money.

Replay and share features

In Love Colors, painting doesn’t have to be a solitary activity, even if you’re doing it for some relaxing alone time. Once you’ve completed a picture, there’s a replay feature which allows you to rewatch how your digital work of art came together, and you can share this with your friends and family.

Power-ups to supercharge your creativity

Love Colors lets you paint through intuitive screen taps and swipes which mimic brushstrokes, but there will be situations where brushstrokes alone aren’t the right approach. For these occasions, there is an assortment of power-ups you can call on to get the job done. These include virtual paint-filled balloons and paint buckets to help you make a splash on complex canvases. With power-ups like this on your side, it won’t be long before you have painting by numbers down to a fine art.

If you’re looking to add a splash of colour to your life, Love Colors: Coloring Book is available as a free download from the App Store and Google Play today.
