An official Liverpool FC game has just launched on the App Store. Liverpool FC Keepy Uppy King casts you as Stevie (it’s illegal to call him Steven, you know) Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Jamie Carragher and Dirk Kuyt as you strive to keep the ball in the air for as long as possible.
According to the blurb your players use their “feet, head, shoulders, neck and more” to achieve this goal. The mind boggles as to what other body parts they could be referring too, but you know these footballers and their strange habits.
The game features depictions of Liverpool FC’s Anfield stadium and their Melwood training ground. Rather more interestingly, it features an online global high-score table for an extra competitive edge.
If this were a football website, we’d probably sign off by making a mildly offensive joke about ‘Scousers’ and their predilection for expensive lifestyle gadgets. But it’s not, so we won’t.
