Limbus Company: Faust guide

| Limbus Company

Limbus Company is a complex game full of different characters to collect and different E.G.Os to equip them with. In this guide, we’ll specifically be dialling in on the fan-favourite character Faust to see what Identities are best for her and what she should be equipped with and on what team to deduce how to make the most out of her abilities. So let’s jump right in!

Faust’s Identities

Faust has four Identities, which are this game’s versions of different characters. Each comes equipped with their own abilities and specialities that make certain ones better at doing certain things. Altogether, none of them are specifically bad, but there are certainly power differences between them all. Let’s go over them now!

The One Who Grips

First up is The One Who Grips. This Identity is centred around Pierce abilities and applying lots of Bleed stacks. Given this status effect makes enemies take a set amount of damage each time they roll for a Clash, this is very useful and probably the strongest version of Faust available.

Bloody Faust in combat

Lobotomy Corp Remnant Identity

Next, going in order of strongest, we have the Lobotomy Corp Remnant Identity for Faust. This Identity works a lot like the other Slash-centered Identities, focused around building up Poise, which gives you lots of crit chance. While Poise is undeniably one of the weaker statuses, it can be quite useful if applied with other Slash-centered team members to build up lots of critical chances for everyone.

W Corp. Cleanup Agent Faust

Then, we have W Corp. Cleanup Agent Faust. This Identity is built around building up Charge counts and doing lots of Blunt Damage. Charge hasn’t been super strong in Limbus Company, but if you’re going to use a Charge character, W. Corp Cleanup Agent is likely your best bet since she has ways to apply Charge to herself, which can then be consumed to make her abilities stronger.

Finally, we have the base version of Faust. Base versions of units are typically passed over when it comes to Limbus Company, but Base Faust has the ability to debuff her enemies with every attack, applying damage and defense down debuffs that can make even the toughest enemies crumble quickly. If you’re going up against a tough huge health pool boss fight, use this one!

E.G.Os

Faust currently has four E.G.Os as well. All of these are quite useful in certain situations, and given you can equip all four, there’s no reason not to if you managed to get lucky and roll the rarer of the two.

The first of these E.G.Os is her base; Representation Emitter Faust. This particular E.G.O is extremely strong when up against Blunt-weak enemies, as it is an AoE Blunt attack. It can also apply some Protection buffs to Faust while lowering her damage as well, so use it in a pinch for that extra defense too!

Next, we have Hex Nail Faust. This one is a little on the weaker side. While it does lots of Pierce damage and applies three Pierce Fragility, an attack buff for that type of attack, and one Envy Fragility, it also applies three Curse to Faust. This Curse will apply a random debuff three times over each round, so use it sparingly.

Then, we have Fluid Sac Faust. This is an easy recommendation, as not only is it also a Blunt AoE attack, but it then will Heal 10 SP for all allies as well as 10% of their max HP too. Honestly, I’d recommend using this as much as possible, since there’s no clear downside to it and it can heal up your injured party members.

Faust character stats

Finally, we have Telepole Faust. This one is pretty much exclusively meant for use with W. Corp Faust, as its passive ability will make Faust do more damage per Charge count she has. On top of this, it also will inflict 3 Paralyze and give her a 5 Charge count, so combine these for a damage-dealing massacre!

Team Composition

Most versions of Faust can be thrown in any team comp as they’re all at least somewhat viable, so really, choose your favourite! Though, if you want my recommendation, I’d say combine Telepole and W. Corp Faust for the biggest potential. Otherwise, use The One Who Grips as much as possible as she is extremely strong even against non-pierce-weak enemies.

That sums up our Faust guide! Use these recommendations and this information to breeze your way through the story mode and utilize Faust to her utmost potential!
