If you're staying up late tonight in order to download the latest batch of new iOS games, please let me offer you some words of warning.
Don't play Noego Games's LEVEL 22 for too long after downloading it at midnight. Or, well, you're bound to be late for work tomorrow morning. The irony will eat you alive.
If you remember, LEVEL 22 is a stealth game set inside and around a large office building. You don't play a trained spy or government operative, though. Instead, you are a hungover guy trying to avoid being spotted by his co-workers so that no one knows he's late for work.
Quite an amusing idea, I think you'll agree. Through the game's comically drawn pixels, Noego Games only serves to emphasise the lighthearted tone of the game.
Being a typical guy, your stealth tactics don't involve tranquilliser darts and night vision goggles, by the way. Nope, you'll be hiding in car boots, fiddling with coffee machines, and shuffling around in a cardboard box.
There is also a slightly more serious plotline 'lurking' beneath the drunken shenanigans of LEVEL 22.
As you sneak around the restricted areas, you see, you discover the dark secrets that your employer has been hiding.
You'll have to wait until midnight to discover what those secrets are. LEVEL 22 will be available on the App Store this evening for £2.49 / $3.99.
