Last Fortress: Underground is a new survival game by Life is a Game, which has just launched on mobile. The genre already has some great titles like Ark: Survival Evolved, LifeAfter, Don’t Starve, and more but Last Fortress aims to revamp things a little with a twist. The game will combine various elements like survival, horror, and life simulation to create a challenging gameplay experience as players try to survive in the apocalyptic setting.

Last Fortress; Underground stars a group of ragtag survivors who are trying to escape from a group of voracious zombies and find themselves in a massive underground facility. While it's far from a place to call home, this band of humans must investigate the ancient fortress and rebuild it. Players must put aside their fears and do their best to create a safe haven for anyone who needs protection from the zombies.

From the first look, the survivors just believe that this archaic bunker is probably something from the pre-apocalyptic era which might provide them with a roof over their heads. Upon further surveying, of course, it is revealed that there is much more than meets the eye. The fortress has enough potential to support more communities and also stand against the zombie threat.

Rebuilding an entire fortress to sustain against monstrous creatures definitely sounds daunting but Last Fortress’ cross-sectional view makes things a tad bit easier, allowing players to see all of the facility’s ongoing activities and also control and manage the entire group. The battle need not be fought alone either, as players will have the opportunity to form guilds with others online and battle the zombies together.
