Leisure Suit Larry has fun in the sun on mobile

Some spin-offs are puzzling, some kinda make sense, and some are so obvious, they make you wonder why they didn't happen years ago.

Vivendi Universal's decision to put cartoon perv Leisure Suit Larry into a beach volleyball game falls into the latter category. Larry, in a game full of bikini-clad ladies? With his reputation?

So, Larry Beach Volley is pretty much what you'd expect. As Larry, you coach a team of women, in charge of tactics and recruitment. Oh, and massage. Obviously.

There'll be eight teams to play as and Vivendi is promising 'gorgeous' 3D graphics. We bet we know what elements the developers will spent most time on too.

The game will feature one-thumb controls (we're resisting the temptation to make any obvious jokes here), and it's due out in September.

Its bikinis'n'boobs quota will win it plenty of attention, but Larry Beach Volley will face stiff competition from the likes of Playman Beach Volley.
