King Arthur: Legends Rise debuts massive new update
  • Netmarble's hit squad-based RPG King Arthur: Legends Rise has a major new update
  • The powerful hero Caliburn Arthur offers a wealth of new abilities
  • New progression systems and events let you show off your battle prowess

Netmarble and Kabam's hit squad-based RPG King Arthur: Legends Rise has received a major new update jam-packed with content. Featuring a powerful new hero, in-game events and character progression system, it's a great reason to jump back into King Arthur: Legends Rise for new and returning players alike.

The major hero being added is that of Caliburn Arthur. Having forged a pact with the sword Caliburn, this version of Arthur now wields the full might of Excalibur. With Immortality activation on lethal damage, and increased attack and critical strike buffs per enemy hit, he promises to be a powerful frontline fighter and lynchpin for your party.

If you want to show off the capabilities of your party, then the new Hall of Conquerors is for you, where you'll be ranked depending on the amount of total damage dealt to bosses. With seasonal challenges offering three distinct dungeons, you'll need to carefully curate your party, especially since heroes can't be used on the same cycle twice.

There are more additions besides, such as the Hero Chivalry system, which upgrades the level cap from 60 to 70, and improvements to Summoning mechanics. Now, you can use fragments from 'Hero Memory Rudiment' (attained through events and rewards) to summon your choice of heroes. While the Special Summon Wishlist system functions as wishlists do in other gacha-focused releases.

Finally, you'll want to check in during May, as the new attendance event 'Teeming with Life' will offer 1,500 Hero Shard Points, 10 Special Summon Tickets, Pedestals and other top rewards.

While King Arthur: Legends Rise may offer top RPG action, there are plenty more options out there for the strategy-focused among you. Check out our list of the top 25 best RPGs for iOS and Android for more options!
