Flavourworks (of Erica fame) has announced the official release of HUSH, its latest cinematic endeavor that's exclusively available now on select Samsung devices. The "touch video" experience takes players on a journey through an episodic crime series in the form of an FMV game.

Much like Erica, HUSH takes advantage of immersive storytelling to hook players into the game with a tactile experience to make them feel like they're in an actual movie. Flavourworks' partnership with Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd. lets Samsung users get first dibs on the game ahead of its release on other devices later this year.

In HUSH's premiere chapter, Crane, players can experience a night in San Rosa as henchman Bambi tries to weigh his choices in the city's seedy underbelly. Does he pick love or loyalty? Can he get the job done, and will he survive the night - and the bullets - unscathed?

After the success of Erica, we wanted to continue to improve and refine our games engine for video capabilities, really pushing the boundaries of what video interactivity can offer,” says Zachary Slatter, CEO of Flavourworks. “Through HUSH, we’re able to showcase the future potential of TouchVideo entertainment, going beyond the standard branching options approach as seen in many of today’s standard interactive films.

If you're eager to experience the TouchVideo gaming features and revolutionary live-action tech for yourself, get lost in the branching pathways of the interactive story or immerse yourself in the soundtrack by award-winning composer Austin Wintory, HUSH is now available on the Galaxy Store. Flavourworks' Jack Attridge recently spoke at one of our Beyond Games events, talking about how technology will blur the lines between films and games, something the studio is forging forward with through titles like Erica and HUSH.
