Honkai Impact 3rd concludes volume one of its main story with upcoming Version Kiana
Honkai Impact 3rd has been pretty consistently releasing monthly updates that build on its main story with new chapters. February’s patch releases on the 16th and is titled Version Kiana. It aims to bring some closure with the conclusion of volume one of the sci-fi-themed RPG’s storyline.
Honkai Impact 3rd Volume One’s final chapter is XXXV and has been titled Toward a New Tomorrow. Chaos is everywhere as the Valkyries face new challenges in their efforts to regain control of the Earth, while Project Stigma and Chimera energy make their threat felt as well.
On the brighter side, Kiana and her allies have managed to reach the Cocoon of Finality. Here awaits the final boss of volume one, Kevin. He is ready to show the Valkyries that he is the original authority of finality, ensuring that it’s going to be one hell of a finale for players.
The update introduces Kiana’s final form as the Herrscher of Finality. She is an IMG-type Fire damage dealer who utilizes a pistol and a sword. She has a lot of fancy moves that can decimate enemies with relative ease. This new avatar is representative of Kiana’s hard-fought journey during which she has grown and attained independence, bliss, and perfection.
Paired with her is the Herrscher of Origin, Raiden Mei. She too excels in sword-based combat and used her trusty Wing Blades to obliterate enemies as an IMG-type Lighting damage dealer. Mei was able to ascend to this level thanks to the faith of all her friends at St. Freya and the Thirteen Flame-Chasers, making her a symbol of strength and fortitude.
The next few updates after this one will deal with the aftermath of the main story’s first volume. Hoyoverse has also confirmed that they are developing a brand new story too. Finally, a 5th-anniversary program is taking place, especially for those on the GLB server on February 11th.
