Harvest Moon creator's Hometown Story comes to 3DS in US, bonus Pochica plushie available in November

Natsume's RPG shopping simulator Hometown Story is available now in the US in both physical and digital forms for $39.99.

Featuring music by famed Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu and artwork by the legendary Pokemon character designer Atsuko Nishida, we expect that a great many players would be eager to get their hands on this one.

We also expect that the adorable limited edition Ember plushies were enough to tempt a few into pre-ordering.

If you missed your chance on that first round of plushies, there's still a glimmer of adorable hope - Natsume has announced that the Collector's Edition is available for pre-order now for $49.99.

The Collector's Edition includes the 11" Pochica Plushie (the big yellow blob of cute in the center, above) and will ship on November 25, meaning it'll arrive just in time for Thanksgiving stateside.

Originally titled Project Happiness, Hometown Story is a bit of a different take on the fantasy RPG dreamed up by Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada. It places you in the role of a humble young shop owner who takes over a store after the passing of your grandmother.

As you build up the store and attract more customers to shop there, the town around you will grow and prosper - opening up more of the colourful and hope-filled world for you to explore.

We don't have a release date for Europe on this one just yet, but a separate iOS version is planned.
