Try not to jump out of your skin when Hello Neighbor lands on iOS and Android later this month
And it's up for pre-order too
Back in May, tinyBuild gave us all a rather large surprise by announcing Hello Neighbor was on its way to mobile. As of yesterday we know exactly when to expect it on iOS and Android - July 27th.
Hello Neighbor's created quite the stir for a while. This survival horror game held a lot of promise and exciting features back when it was first revealed and early gameplay footage really sent a chill down your spine. You can now pre-order #HelloNeighbor for #iPhone #iPad (it's free, and will download automatically on launch day on July 27) - https://t.co/sY2bCF8UMS pic.twitter.com/MBm4al6uFH — tinyBuild (@tinyBuild) July 1, 2018
It's not horror in the traditional sense, but rather the type of fright that's reflex-based - like when a friend or sibling chases you up the stairs. However, when it released after a lengthy beta period it made a bit of a mixed debut. Some people liked it and others thought it was a little unfinished in a sense.
Though I'm super excited to dive into the complete game on mobile, I'll be more interested to see how responsive the controls are for touchscreen. The neighbour comes at you fast when he sees you, so I'd hope that there's a 'quick turn' button or that you can just swipe to turn with ease.
When Hello Neighbor launches it'll be free to play for the first act. If you want to continue the game from there, you can buy the game via IAP. You can pre-order it on the App Store right now if you fancy.
