Clash of Clans dev's farming sim Hay Day comes to Android
| Hay Day

For most of us, farming simulators are the closest we'll ever come to living an agrarian lifestyle.

Full of cute graphics and catchy music, these sims have almost nothing in common with the hardscrabble, workaday world of actual farming - but they're fun little timewasters all the same.

If you're in the market for a new farming sim and own an Android device, you've got a new game to vie for your attention this week: Hay Day, which comes from Clash of Clans developer Supercell.

Hay Day doesn't bring anything terribly new to the farming sim genre past a talking scarecrow, but it's been tremendously successful around the world and even picked up a Pocket Gamer Bronze Award when it was released on the App Store last year.

In our review, we noted that "If you're vehemently opposed to freemium farming sims then this one won't change your mind. But if you fancy spending a relaxing few minutes a day tending the farm then you could do a lot worse than tend this one."

So if you've got room on your Android device of choice for another freemium farming sim, why not see what all the hype is about? And if you need friends to play with, make sure you check on our Hay Day friend codes hub!
