It's a day ending with Y, which means that we're writing about another Webtoon-turned mobile release! Yes, the hit site for reading comics has been a fertile breeding ground for new series, the most well-known of which is probably Solo Leveling and its spin-off Arise. But today's subject takes a bit of a different tack on the whole power fantasy aspect.
Hardcore Levelling Warrior sees you step into the shoes of, unsurprisingly, a warrior who was formerly the most powerful in the world. However, after he's knocked off his pedestal and put right at the bottom of the power rankings it's your job to chart his path back to the top!
Of course, even if you're familiar with the original story the new release looks to take a different approach, hinting at a new narrative set entirely in the world of the original. Confusing, I know, but at the very least it promises a hefty amount of RPG action, complete with a PvP mode and idle rewards for busy players!
Pre-registration for Hardcore Leveling Warrior is now open, with an expected release date (according to the iOS App Store) of sometime in late January. While the gameplay previewed may not stand out as being some kind of new, fantastic twist on the format, I can't say that HLW isn't at least obviously well-made and with plenty of action and nice art to enjoy; so I'd say it's more than worth a gander when Hardcore Leveling Warrior does release.
