Halo Goes Mobile
The Xbox shooter is coming to mobile phone as In-Fusio wheels and deals with Microsoft
Halo, the popular and exceedingly good Xbox game (pictured here), is going to get the mobile phone treatment courtesy of In-Fusio, which has signed an agreement with Microsoft to bring a version of the shooter to handsets. Details are sketchy – the agreement was announced just yesterday and work hasn’t started on the game yet – but you can bank on the mysterious Master Chief making an appearance and kicking alien butt.
The Halo franchise has had two outings on Microsoft’s Xbox console and each has centred on the evil Covenant, an alliance of alien races hell-bent on wiping out humanity, and the genetically-enhanced super soldier known as Master Chief. The two games have been so successful that a big-budget Hollywood movie is in the works, as well.
